| We are looking for a house, cottage, or larger style mobile home/log cabin or anything along these lines with at least 2 bedrooms, to rent within 20 miles or 40 mins driving time (approx) of Aldermaston, Berkshire. As we keep free range chickens (36 at last count), we need a minimum of an acre of land to be surrounding this property. We are on a journey to self sufficiency and will probably aquiring a goat in the near future so a shed or outbuilding (or room to site one) would be an advantage. We would be willing to refurb a property in return for a low rent or pay a normal level for a good property. We are looking to rent for around 3 years while we save to buy our 'forever home'. We have been living this lifestyle for the past 3 years and our current lease is due to expire soon.
