| House with land of at least 4 acres, for less than £300k but obviously as little as possible, we will still need a mortgage for some of this and will be keen to spend as little as possible to leave funds for investment. Land preferably not excessively sloping, and we are not interested in land prone to flooding or land classed as floodplain. If house has only 2 bedrooms, would be more likely to buy if there is scope to add a third without too much trouble.
