Ile de Patiras is in the Gironde estuary, around 45km north of Bordeaux, around 1.5km from either shore; the only access to the island is by private boat. The whole island is about 4kms in length and about 1.5km in width and we are its only inhabitants. We are selling La Trinité Valrose: The land extends to about 3 hectares and includes 1km of coastline complete with pontoon. The main property, Chateau Trinité, is a beautiful house complete with spiral staircase in a turret! Built of cut stone, it has 5 good sized bedrooms and flexible reception space, including a double aspect lounge. It is habitable but in need of complete modernisation and refurbishment. Surrounding the house are gardens mainly laid to lawn containing many lovely mature trees and extending to about 1.5 acres. We have a good sized veg patch, sheep, goats, chickens and ducks.
