The morning room could easily be joined into the kitchen but because of the design and structure of the house it is not possible to knock down lots of walls and make it open plan.

The house is two miles NW of Halifax and has a view of a field with horses in it to the front and winter views over the valley Mount Tabor to the rear. In summer the rear views are obscured by the trees.

The gardens and land have lots of visiting wildlife especially owls but also tree creepers, wrens, woodpeckers, foxes and deers. Halifax has all the usual facilities and has a train station from where there are three direct trains a day to London as well as regular trains to York, Manchester, Blackburn, Blackpool and Leeds.

The house itself is on a bus route with frequent buses to the town centre. The house is very open to any reasonable offers.
