|A delightful mixed woodland of Western Hemlock, Scots Pine, Birch, Rowan and Oak, with an understorey of Chestnut, Hazel and Beech, with a native rhododendron, wild flowers and honeysuckle and several small ponds. There is a clearing within a small Hemlock copse for fires and barbeques, and an area of deciduous trees for coppicing.
The woodland is within an area of Ancient Woodland just outside Sissinghurst and is accessed via a good stone track behind a padlocked gate just off Rogley Hill/Cranbrook Road. Grid reference TQ 830 370.
