| Question | Q: Why isn't my advert uploading correctly? | ||
| Please note that due to illness and bereavement this website is no longer accepting adverts.
In the first instance, we would recommend you check whether we have actually received your advert by logging into the site and clicking on 'My Ads'. If you can see your advert in this section, then we have received it. If you cannot find your advert in 'My Ads', the most common problem for an advert not uploading correctly is that one or more of the photos you are trying to upload within the ad are too large. Photos need to be in JPEG format (as opposed to GIF which is much larger) and ideally 50k or less. You can usually check how large your photos are by right clicking on them and clicking 'Properties'. If you have issues submitting your advert and we have not received it, we would recommend you try uploading your ad without the photos first to check if this is the problem. Once uploaded and your ad has been approved, you can then go into your ad and edit it at any time so could add the photos in later, although if they are too large you will need to resize them for them to be uploaded successfully. If you are unsure how to do this you can send them to us via email and we can resize them and upload them for you. You may need to send them a couple at a time in separate emails, depending on their size and your email provider. It may also take us a few hours to resize them and upload them depending on their size, but we will email you once they are uploaded to your ad.
